Over the past decade, the world has undergone tremendous changes. We now live in a world where communication is of paramount importance. It seems that everyone and everything is somehow connected.
For schoolchildren, this made things much more efficient. Research works that have been used for many hours of laborious efforts can now be researched and documented without even touching the catalog or periodic account card. Worlds of information are now available with one click.
The questions that people thought about without any answers earlier can now simply be entered into any convenient search engine and answered almost immediately. On the Internet there are many sites filled with informative short articles. Videos and music can be seen on the Internet, and news from the world can be delivered in an instant.
There are people who are worried that the technological revolution and evolution that we are experiencing today are moving too fast. In some ways, this seems like a loss of confidentiality, and the ghost of the Society of Big Brother looms more than it has been since 1984. Regardless of whether their concerns are justified, or not yet visible, but people are hardly ever willing to give up almost instant connections with our wired world.
In the face of these fears, there are people who share their world through their blogs. What only friends were supposed to share is now available to millions of people to find out if this should happen on the blogger site. People learn to use it, using their good blogs to sell products and services. The Internet has allowed people to take the same time as the big business boys. Having the necessary information and the ability to receive it, everyone can now reach the masses and share their thoughts, feelings and even sales.
Companies and individuals began to rely on the Internet as a source of advertising and real sales. All business models have been built and thrive solely on the basis of Internet sites. These days, it is rare to find traditional places that do not have any presence on the Internet. Any business that does not adapt and does not develop using the latest technology, seriously risks staying away from its competitors, who choose advanced technologies.
Time will tell what all this will lead to. We must make the most of the positive opportunities of technological promises, but we also need to keep track of where we are going.
