BMW Promising Serious Gadgetry In 2009

2009 BMW 7 seriesThe 2009 BMW 7 series is ready equipped with some super scientific instruments that has the ability to spot you or your dog passing the rood, and to your very surprise, the instruments will spot you even before you get to see the car coming.

BMW is a German originated luxury car that is renounced globally for its break though and stand alone technologies for safety and to-the-edge artifacts features to reduce all the road fatalities and volatilities. The 2009 7 series BMW is a fifth generation automobile take swelled the FLIR ( Forward Looking Infrared) technology an inch higher with the world’s first Pedestrian Recognition System.

The vehicle is engineered with some second generation HUD hardwires that scans the roads up to 300 meters front and notifies the driver of any lively pedestrian on its way. The HUD system is programmed with certain algorithms which captures human body shapes like the body trunks, heads, arms and moving limbs and send alert signals to the driver that someone is on the road up front.

Nevertheless, the 7 series BMW HUD is also tuned with Night Vision technology in which it has a passive infrared scanner. The scanner recognizes body heat signals by humans and can spot pedestrians located in the dark at a distance.

The iDrive display console is placed centrally in the interior which not only gives the BMW an electrifying in modern interior, but it is placed in such a manner than the driver cane easily take a look at it without getting distracted while driving. This iDrive displays the road ahead along with the images produced by the Night Vision system which highlights the pediatricians shape or any other heat source present in the path of the vehicle. Reports tells that the Night Vision FLIR is tuned with such accuracy that it even detects temperature difference at 0.05 degrees, due t this the Night Vision software’s can translate the signals into many more color sand shades such that the driver can accurately figure out what is in its way.

The FLIR is also highly advanced with strong algorithmic codes such that it allows the Night Vision technology with mechanism where it can notice any abnormal movements with respect to the shape and heat of the object. The mechanism can also warn the driver in advance if it senses something is possibly coming near to the cars path.

With all these facilities, the engineers of BMW just can’t have enough. The FLIR is also furnished with a technology that senses any hard objects on the way that can possibly hit the car. If an object appears on the route of the car, the sensor predicts there are chances of collision and the HUD system highlights the object with shades of yellow triangle and alerts the driver that’s something is wrong in the way. The driver gets flashes of signals of those yellow triangles on the iDrive display console being still 300 meters away from that object.

The 2009 BMW 7 series sis too much equipped with safety tools for its drivers. However, its creators say that the second generation HUD Night Vision system was much more economical to manufacture than the first generation one, and thus they are proud to come with such a handy source of technology up front to the world.
